Famous People Day

Famous People Day is coming up! As noted on our school calendar, this event will be held on Friday, November 13th. On the day of the event, students will be presenting a certain famous person of their choice as part of a living museum in class. Students must prepare a poster and a speech for this project. They will also dress up as their famous person.
Students will work towards completing this project step by step up until the day of the event. Please note that the project is split into various assignments. The document for each assignment will be given once the previous assignment is completed.
The following are important due dates for the project:
Wednesday, October 21, 2020: Famous person approval by the teacher due
Tuesday, October 27, 2020: 5 W’s of a famous person due
Friday, October 30, 2020: Supply list for project due
Wednesday, November 4, 2020: Rough draft of Biographical Information sheet and speech due
Monday, November 9, 2020: Final draft due (poster and speech)
*Friday, November 13, 2020: Bring poster/costume and have speech memorize
As noted on the list of due dates, the Famous Person Approval is DUE TOMORROW! If your child has lost his/her approval slip, please make a copy of the document below and have them submit it to me by TOMORROW!
